What's included in my event ticket?
Your ticket includes: 2 nights of group camping (Friday and Saturday, entry to Friday social with campfire s'mores and camp games, Saturday night Dinner, Inspirational Speakers,
your choice of guided outdoor activities for Saturday and Sunday, group volunteer event
and a swag bag!
What is not included in ticket price?
With the exception of Saturday night, food and drink are not provided. You will be in charge of bringing your own food and cooking equipment. A variety of breakfast food will be available (bagels, fruit, etc), but if you require specific food, please bring your own. The dinner on Saturday night will be able to accommodate gluten and vegetarian eaters.
You will also be required to bring your own camping gear - tents, sleeping bag, and whatever you need to be comfortable for two nights of camping. A camping chair is recommended.
Most activities will take place in the park, however, a few are off-site (but not far!). You will be required to transport yourself if you choose to go to those activities. We will help & encourage carpooling.
Who should attend this event?
If a weekend of camping and exploring the Driftless area with a group of like minded ladies sounds fun...this event is for you! This is event is for female-identifying people who are 21+!
Are pets allowed?
We love your dog, we really do, but this is a pet-free event so you can enjoy every minute of it (like biking and goat yoga) that would be difficult with a pup. Service dogs are allowed!
Do I need to bring my own tent?
To keep costs low - you are required to bring your own tent/camping gear for this event.
Where do I park?
Parking is available at campsite, however we encourage carpooling to limit congestion and to be environmentally friendly! When you purchase your ticket you will get access to a closed FB group for only those who will be attending the event where carpooling can take place!
Is transportation provided to activities?
Some activities are walkable from the campground while others do require driving. You will be required to get yourself to the activities you choose. We will encourage and help facilitate carpooling!
What is the refund policy?
You can cancel your ticket with no charge up to 30 days before the event. If you cancel within 30 days, your ticket is non-refundable. ( If you have further questions please reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org)
What if I can't arrive on Friday night?
No worries - you can show up on Saturday morning. However, due to the already low-cost nature of the event, there is no discount for only 1 night of camping.
What if it rains?
WOW midwest is happening rain or shine - so bring a rain jacket if bad weather is in the forecast! There will be some opportunities to be indoors, but primarily, this is an outdoor event.
I'm Gluten Free/Vegan/Vegetarian- will there be food for me at the Saturday night dinner?
There will be a gluten free, vegetarian, vegan option for the Saturday night dinner. If you have other concerns about the Saturday night dinner, please email us at email@example.com.
